n          Requirements for membership:

A.    Minimum age of 18 years.

B.     Minimum of 3 years of dance teaching experience.

C.     Signature of two (2) DTCB/AS members, letters of recommendation may be accepted.  For additional information, please consult the Secretary

    Submit the application, together with your check for the application fee and year's dues to the Secretary.  ($130.00)  This fee is non-refundable. 

    After submission of the application, your name will be published in the next meeting notice and sent to all members.  Your application will then be   voted on at the next scheduled meeting.

    When your application has received a favorable vote (2/3 of the votes cast), you will be contacted by the Membership Examiner and an appointment will be scheduled for your exam(s) in the subjects which you selected.

6.    Your exam(s) must be taken when scheduled unless otherwise pre-arranged with the Membership Examiner.  The DTCB/AS will only qualify you as a member in the subjects which you have passed.

7.    Upon successful completion of the exam(s), you will be requested to attend the next regularly scheduled meeting of the DTCB/AS to be installed as a member by taking the Oath of Membership.

8.     Once becoming a member, you are eligible to attend all meetings and functions and you have a voice and vote in all DTCB/AS business.
